To both of these companies comes a challenge. I've been a fan for YEARS, but let's get real about something that is so minuscule that both of you should be able to solve this one working together.
MERGING OF USER ID's.
This is so far from rocket science that it's pitiful. But yet companies like Apple and Adobe don't allow users to merge their user IDs. Personally this would be a lifesaver because for me the one user ID that I want to merge is an email address that I would like to phase out but cannot because it's bound to so many product purchases.
What's truly surprising is that merging information in databases is such an elementary operation and people have been doing it for years so there's really no excuse or reason why not to allow this function for users.
What we really should find out is what's the true problem what's the true reason for not allowing people to do this having multiple Apple IDs for multiple product purchases makes it very difficult when you're trying to use devices to enjoy your media such as movies, music, TV shows etc.
What I personally would like to see is both companies working together to find a solution to allow users to have this flexibility so that we can then dispose of domain names that we may be using, and having problems with spam, viruses, malware, and other issues.
Is there any possibility of you to finding a solution for this please let the user populations of your various companies know. I personally know, that this is been on the plate for a number of years and it's really surprising, but nobody has truly found a solution for it yet. Apple should take the lead on this and Adobe should follow suit.
Also I'm sure that there are many database companies out there that would jump at the chance to assist either one of you in making this a reality for your user populations. So what's the hold up folks?
Thanks in advance for your consideration of this issue.
Best regards,
Michael
